Cancellation Policy

Withdrawal by the Participant

If a participant wishes to withdraw from the contract for a reason not attributable to the organiser, they may do so by submitting a cancellation. Any requests for changes to participation or cancellations must be made in writing. The date of receipt by the organiser shall determine the effective date of the cancellation.

In the event of a cancellation, the organiser may, without further proof, charge a fixed compensation to cover expenses incurred and loss of expected income.

Cancellation Policy

  • Up to 30 days before the start of the event:
  • Any participation fees already paid will be refunded in full, less any actual payment and service charges incurred.
  • These include, in particular:
  • Booking system service fees of 2.8% of the ticket price, capped at €13.00, and
  • any additional fees charged by the selected payment provider (e.g. PayPal transaction fees).
  • These fees are retained by the payment service provider or booking platform and cannot be refunded, even in the case of cancellation.
  • Up to 14 days before the start of the event:
  • A refund of 50% of the participation fee will be granted.
  • The above-mentioned payment and service fees are already included in this percentage-based cancellation deduction and are therefore not charged separately.
  • From 13 days before the start of the event or in case of non-attendance:
  • For cancellations made 13 calendar days or fewer before the start of the event, or in the event of non-attendance without prior cancellation, the full participation fee (100%) will be charged.
  • There will be no entitlement to a refund in such cases.

Substitute Participants

A substitute participant may be nominated at any time free of charge. The substitute shall assume all rights and obligations arising from the contract.

Both the original participant and the substitute shall be jointly and severally liable for the participation fees.

No cancellation fees will apply; however, any payment and service fees already incurred cannot be refunded.

For rebookings made within 14 days prior to the start of the seminar, the organiser may charge a reasonable administrative fee.

Form of Cancellation

Cancellations must be made in writing (by letter or email) and sent to the contact address provided in the booking confirmation.

The receipt of the cancellation notice by the organiser shall be decisive in determining compliance with the cancellation period.
